Over the past few months, we have been working with our partners SAP, E.ON, IABG, Bayernwerk, FFE, Energy Web, ChargeX, coneva, Münchner Taxi Zentrum and Exnaton on a pilot project to develop a smart solution that creates incentives to adapt charging behavior to the availability of renewable energies. The core of the development is a dynamic pricing system that depends on the CO2 intensity of the locally available electricity mix.
Smart, price-controlled charging technology relieves the burden on the power grid by charging when renewable energy generation is high and encourages e-car drivers to reduce their personal environmental footprint and lets them benefit from favorable prices.
