Dr. Bernhard Kalkbrenner
Director
With an academic background in economics from institutions such as the University of St. Gallen and a PhD from the Technical University of Munich, Bernhard gained his own entrepreneurial experience before joining UnternehmerTUM in 2017. At Digital Hub Mobility, he built up and led the co-Innovation area, bringing together companies, municipalities, and startups to develop new solutions for sustainable mobility. Since 2024/2025, Bernhard has been leading Digital Hub Mobility at UnternehmerTUM.

Kirstin Hegner
Senior Advisor
Kirstin brings a broad professional background to UnternehmerTUM: she holds a degree in economics, worked as a consultant at Bain & Company, and spent many years in leadership positions at Daimler/Mercedes-Benz. In 2017, she founded the Digital Hub Mobility and led it as Managing Director until 2024. Today, she supports UnternehmerTUM as a Senior Advisor in the field of autonomous driving – contributing not only her extensive experience but also an exceptionally large and powerful network.

Dr.-Ing. Simon Herzog
Head of Mobility Projects
Simon holds a Ph.D. in Energy Systems from TUM and RWTH Aachen and brings strong technical expertise combined with a clear passion for innovation. He has led several interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of energy and mobility and is experienced in evaluating startups as well as designing collaborations between startups, corporates, and venture capital firms. At UnternehmerTUM, Simon contributes to expanding the innovation ecosystem and drives activities that connect key stakeholders to accelerate impactful mobility solutions.

Veronika Brandmeier
Head of Energy Innovation
With a strong background in sustainable energy supply and energy economics, Veronika brings more than a decade of experience at the intersection of mobility and energy. During her time at Siemens Management Consulting and The Mobility House, she developed strategies, products, and cross-industry partnerships that enabled bidirectional charging solutions.
At UnternehmerTUM, she is establishing the new Energy track, bringing together partner network expansion and co-innovation initiatives.

Hennig Richarz
Senior Customer Success Manager
Henning holds a master’s degree in International Business Administration and brings diverse experience from the automotive industry. As a Senior Customer Success Manager at UnternehmerTUM, he ensures that customers receive the support they need to achieve their goals. He serves as the primary point of contact and is an experienced navigator within Munich’s innovation ecosystem.

Maximilian Ritz
Senior Service Designer
After several years at Audi, Max leads pioneering co-innovation projects at the Digital Hub Mobility, bringing together industry, startups, and public stakeholders. Driven by his passion for sustainable mobility, he shapes multi-stakeholder projects such as Truck Charging — from early stakeholder alignment and user-centric prototyping to successful pilot rollouts.

Nina Käser
Senior Expert Marketing & Communications | Energy
Nina brings strong expertise in event management and communications, shaped through her previous work at UnternehmerTUM as Head of Events and Internal Communications, as well as earlier roles at BMW and in consulting. At Digital Hub Mobility, Nina oversees marketing and communications activities for our Energy track, strengthening the visibility and positioning of our energy initiatives and co-innovation projects.

Claudia Happe
Senior Manager Marekting & Communications | Mobility
Driven by the ambition to advance sustainable mobility together with the team, Claudia is responsible for all brand, marketing, and communication activities at Digital Hub Mobility by UnternehmerTUM. She brings more than a decade of experience in developing and executing marketing strategies in international companies, gained among others during her time at Messe München.

Ivan Selednikov
Expert Sustainable Mobility & Urban Development
Ivan combines solid experience in urban planning with a clear focus on sustainable urban development. He holds a Master’s degree in Urbanism from the Technical University of Munich, where he explored topics such as accessible public transport and innovative solutions for more livable cities. At Digital Hub Mobility, he drives the EU-funded ASCEND project forward — aiming to transform the Munich district of Harthof into an energy-positive neighborhood.

Bastian Lanzinger
Expert Energy Innovation
Bastian brings several years of experience from The Mobility House, where he worked at the intersection of energy, mobility, and innovative charging solutions. At UnternehmerTUM, he serves as an energy innovation expert overseeing co-innovation projects between industry partners, start-ups, and public institutions. He drives the implementation of multi-stakeholder initiatives such as Grids & Benefits and supports these projects from initial conception through to successful completion.

Jana Heese
Consultant MCube
Jana discovered her passion for sustainable mobility during her studies and went on to develop mobility solutions for rural areas at the city administration of Holzkirchen. At Digital Hub Mobility, she played a key role in the MCube lighthouse projects Car-Reduced Neighborhoods for a More Livable City (AQT) and Transformative Mobility Experiments (TrEx). She is currently contributing her expertise to Climate City Dash 2.0, a project that develops city-specific dashboards to support municipalities on their path toward climate neutrality.

Linus Simons
Working Student | Junior Analyst Energy
Linus is a Management & Technology master’s student at TUM with a focus on energy engineering. He gained early insights into the energy sector through roles at EY, FfE and BMW. At UnternehmerTUM, he supports the development of our energy network, contributes to co-innovation workshops, and conducts research on emerging energy topics. He is currently writing his master’s thesis on the application of artificial intelligence in power grids in collaboration with UnternehmerTUM.

Yannik Mei
Working Student | Mobility
Yannik is a master’s student in Mechanical Engineering at TUM with a focus on development, production, and management. He gained initial technical experience at DLR as well as at BMW; he also brings entrepreneurial experience. At UnternehmerTUM, he supports startup-related mobility activities such as EIT Urban Mobility, contributes to the EU project ASCEND – Accelerate Positive Clean Energy Districts, and plays an active role in the hub’s community and event activities.
